Rail travel to Scotland

Forget the hassle of flying. Letting the train take the strain is the way to travel to Scotland. As well as being environmentally friendly, it’s also fast and comfortable too. Speed from the heart of London to the centre of Edinburgh in under 4 hours 30 minutes on many services.

Aboard the fleet of modern air-conditioned Azuma trains, you’ll find comfy ergonomically-designed seats, large windows, free wifi and at-seat power. If you feel peckish during the journey, there is an on-board café-bar selling food and refreshments.

We will make seat reservations for you and your party, so you are seated together* and we’ll try to get you the best views by booking seats on the best side of the train**.

* This may not be possible for last-minute bookings

** Subject to seats being available

Tours of Scotland

How-it-Works-Stirling-Castle

If your tour package includes one or more sightseeing tours, you’ll travel as part of a larger party on a fully-guided tour led by an experienced driver/guide. The tour will feature regular photo stops and time to visit places of interest along the way.  A full commentary in English will be provided by the driver/guide

There won’t be a toilet on the coach in most cases, but regular comfort stops will be made. There will also be breaks for refreshments and lunch, which can be purchased from a local shop or restaurant.

Due to restrictions on drivers hours of work, it isn’t possible to offer a hotel pick-up service, but the tour departure point will be a short walk from your hotel in the centre of Edinburgh or Inverness. Directions will be provided in your tour itinerary.
